This studio wedding venue is The RIBA award winning Siobhan Davies Studios. A contemporary arts space housed in a converted Victorian school
“…there’s nothing conventional about Siobhan Davies’s new dance studio…” The Guardian
These unique studios were built in 1898 as a school annex creating an unusual balance between old and new design. Architect Sarah Wigglesworth purposefully redesigned the building into a flexible event space in a sustainable and innovative way. Without erasing the footprint of the existing building was of the upmost importance. The large, airy studio space is located on the second floor and is unique for its repeated curved shell ribbons that form the roof and walls, allowing daylight to enter the space. Truly a warm and stimulating setting.
This studio wedding venue lends itself extremely well to couples who want to create their own vision. Both utterly unique and completely adaptable.
Furthermore, you’ll find many interesting parts of the building and grounds providing for really creative, fun and relaxed mingling and photography opportunities.
