Welsh Yurt Weddings @Fron Farm Yurt Retreat is a newly created, unique wedding venue in West Wales, offering weddings for those looking for something alternative.
Set in 60 acres of organic farmland, Fron Farm is nestled in a rural valley in the rolling Welsh countryside. Fron Farm has its own glamping site with yurts and roundhouses. All of which have been handcrafted by the farms Yurt Manufacturing Business, Fron Farm Yurts. What makes Welsh Yurt Weddings stand out from others? It’s the farm’s newly renovated private medieval church, whether you are spiritual or not, with its lime washed walls and oak beams, is the perfect setting for all ceremonies and blessings.
Wedding receptions are held in two large wedding yurts. These are such beautiful reception spaces, and there is onsite luxury glamping accommodation for guests. All this, overlooking woodland and valleys. A fully licensed bar can be arranged as well as entertainment licenses. Fire pits around the site will ensure you are kept warm throughout the evening. If you want to stay, accommodation for up to 25 guests is available in the onsite Glamping Yurts and bell tents with the option of further camping. Whether you are looking for a small simple affair or a large luxurious extravaganza, Welsh Yurt Weddings at Fron Farm are all about you!
Everything is hand crafted on the farm from locally sourced, sustainable materials. Furthermore, you have the option of a whole site booking and organising your own event. If you want the stress taken away, the team can work with local food, flower and entertainment providers as well as a local wedding planner to prepare a day never to be forgotten.
|| We had the most perfect wedding at Fron Farm Yurt Retreat, it was our dream venue. We feel so lucky to have been able to celebrate in this truly special place. The site itself is beautiful; carefully landscaped flowerbeds, ponds and fire-pits make for a fantastic outdoor space where guests can mingle and take in the spectacular views. Amazing craftsmanship has gone in to the large yurt and roundhouse, it’s breathtaking. Even with minimal decoration on our part, the main indoor wedding space looked stunning.
The lovingly restored chapel has so much character and was perfect for our cozy, relaxed ceremony. A vintage trap, towed by an amazing old tractor transported us to and from the chapel. That’s a moment we will never forget. We stayed in the Gwidhw roundhouse, which was a treat in itself and an ideal space for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready in, as well as a great place to spend our wedding night.|| Jess + David September 2017
