If you’re looking for a truly ‘unusual wedding marquee‘ option then look no further. Born from a passion for creating beautiful, inspiring party environments. A love of colour, texture and pattern plus the enthusiasm for creating unique events led Founder Katherine Hudson to travel the World sourcing fabrics and furniture to create a range of bespoke marquees.

This lovely lot can also offer somewhere to pitch the tent of your dreams at their very own ‘Rye Island’ – a stunning patch of Sussex countryside just 20 mins North of Brighton. But does it have a lake? √ a view of the downs? √ An awesome party-barn-come-nightclub on-site? √

Truly quirky because of the ever-growing choice of different structures and interiors options that are available to you…all with matching furniture and accessories. After all where else can you have your wedding reception in a purple velvet tent (yes it’s been done!) or have a giant flapping parrot hanging from the ceiling of your marquee!

Of course this particularly ‘unusual wedding marquee’ company offers lots of classically beautiful interior choices too like the William Morris inspired interior and the Cornish Cream lining, but for those people who ‘want something different’ this is certainly a marquee company that can rise to the challenge! Everything from the Indian and Arabic themes of our Bombay, Raj, Purple Palace and Arabian interiors to La Rouge, inspired by the famous French dance hall.

Children and pets welcome, and they like to make the little people feel special by creating little chill out areas for them to hang out.  If you suspect the neighbours might complain after midnight, they can stick some headphones on your guests to create a silent disco effect and keep the party going until everyone’s ready to drop.

What about accommodation? It’s quirky of course, a range of bell tents and yurts for guests and the bridal boudoir which is, as you imagine first night heaven! There is something on offer for all styles and budgets and showers and toilets can be arranged to complement these.

Over the last decade, The Arabian Tent Company has built an enviable reputation for having the creativity, expertise and, above all, the marquees and interiors themselves.  To help their couples express their own individuality and sense of fun on their special day. This applies as much, if not more, to Second Weddings as it does to first. The company was born at a festival… springing up from the festival tents Katherine started in 2006 including The Rabbit Hole, which is now frequented by celebrities and royalty alike! (Glastonbury 2013 saw both Prince Harry and Kate Moss make a beeline for the now infamous party tent).

Say what?

The party was fabulous and I genuinely believe that is down to the atmosphere that the Arabian Tent produced – we danced and partied until 7am!

It was literally the best day of our lives. The Secret Door went down an absolute storm, as did the themed loo’s (can’t imagine many brides get compliments on the toilets at their wedding!). Feedback from guests was that it was head and shoulders above any other wedding they had ever been to!
